Luigi Faccone
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and nonno. Luigi was born in Morrone del Sannio, Italy on April 17, 1938. He passed away in New Westminster on January 15, 2012 at the age of 73. Luigi was predeceased by his beloved son Tony and his loving wife Anna. Luigi is survived by his son Marco, daughter-in-law Lucia, grandchildren Marina and Anthony, brother Joe (Karren), sister Maria in Italy, mother-in-law Amerina, sister-in-law Luciana (Luigi), brother-in-law Clor, and many nieces and nephews. Luigi also leaves behind his devoted companion Agnese and her loving family. Luigi adored his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a man of great faith and compassion for others. He enjoyed spending time with friends, playing bocce at Confederation Park, volunteering his time with the Knights of Columbus, attending events at the Italian Centre, and spending many hours in his garden. Luigi’s smile will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
There will be a visitation on Friday January 20 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings Street from 3-4:30pm.
Prayer service will be held on Friday January 20 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 555 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 21 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Oceanview Burial Park in the South Mausoleum.

Moments in Time
Luigi’s Life
Was the sum of many glorious awakenings,
Whispers of romantic memories,
Dreams and aspirations,
Persistence’s and struggles,
All with its measure of successes.
But most of all it has been a Blessing,
A miracle of unending Grace from God,
Remaining the binding force,
Of Your Fathers Life,
Now and always till You meet Again,
