Ann (Ankica) Sertic

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ann. She was born in Udbina, Lika, Croatia on January 1, 1924 and passed away peacefully on January 7, 2012. Ann was predeceased by her husband Mike in 2006. Survived by daughter Mary, son Tony (Jandy) and several nieces and nephews and their families. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3108 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13th. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, B.C. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.

    Our sincere condolences to Mary and Tony (Jandy) on the loss of your mother. We both have fond memories of your mom dating back to the early 70s. She was always happiest cooking for her family and friends even when it became difficult for her to do so. May your happy memories be of comfort to you at this difficult time.
