It is with great sadness to announce the passing Rita Mary Rose, on November 25th, 2011 at Burnaby General Hospital. Rita was born in Vancouver on June 21, 1914 and lived a wonderful 97 years . Rita is survived by her sister , Leida ( Enez ) Grant, her nieces Laura , Theresa , Noni and nephew Bobby ,along with great nephews . Aunty Rita will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Rest in peace Aunty, as your spirit will live with us forever .

The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

    Aunty Rita , you are with God and in peace now …. It was your time and an angel came down to take u to a better life now in heaven with Nonna , Nonno, Fatty, Dypho , Silvio and your son Stuart, my Dad (George) , and your younger siblings … You lived a wonderful long life one that whoever met you or knew you will never forget you …. We love you , will miss you but we will see you again one day . God Bless you Aunty Rita , you were the best of the best ! Rest Well my love .
