Immacolata (Emma) Guglielmucci
June 2, 1925 – December 26, 2011
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, and grandmother. Born June 2, 1925 in Fragneto Monforte, Italy, mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 86, after a long and courageous struggle with dementia. Mom was predeceased by her husband Antonio, brother-and sister-in-law Armando and Rina, nephew Robert and siblings in Italy. She is survived by her son Angelo (Brigit), daughters Luci, Elaine, Lia (Steve), grandchildren Nicole (Leon), Tia, Danielle and great granddaughter Adriana. Mom will be lovingly remembered by many nephews, nieces and friends both in Canada and Italy. The family wish to thank the staff at Burnaby General Hospital and Normanna Rest Home for their care of mom. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park (Abbey) Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimers Society of BC would be greatly appreciated.
