TAYLOR, Anna Stella (nee Bruchesi/Agostino)
July 19, 1913 – October 7, 2011
Anna passed away surrounded by love and in the presence of her family at Haro Park Centre at the age of 98 years. She leaves to mourn her devoted daughter Rosemarie Tillman; grandsons Philip Agostino and Anthony Tillman (Tiffany); grand-daughter Maria Katsionis (Peter), and 2 great grandchildren Dimitri and Ireland. She was predeceased by second husband Myron Taylor in 1979, first husband Philip Agostino in 1962, and her son Joseph (Joey) Agostino in 1973. Her parents Tony and Rosina Bruchesi, along with her brother Joe Bruchesi, sisters Carmen Lehto and Jennie LaRosa, emigrated from Mammola, Reggio Calabria in 1910. Anna, the youngest, was born in North Vancouver. She will be remembered for her amazing cooking, love of people, and for touching many peoples’ lives. Special thank-you to her family at Haro Park Centre for their loving care. Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Haro Park Foundation, 1233 Haro St. Vancouver, BC V6E 3Y5 would be appreciated.

This is a very sad time but we are happy that Auntie Anne is finally at peace and is joining her beloved sisters and brother. Our sincerest condolences to Rosemarie and her loving family.
