May 11, 1921 – August 12, 2011
Surrounded with the love of her family, Vincenza passed away peacefully at Burnaby Hospital. She was born in Civitanova Del Sannio, Italy and was predeceased by her husband Angelo (1979) and son Nicola (1980). Missing her dearly are son Domenico (Beatrice), daughter Rosina (Gabriele), along with grandchildren Mario (Jennifer), Carlo (Lana), Angelo, Tina (Tony), Robert (Marianne) and great grandchildren Michael, Vincent, Gabriella, Olivia, Tatiana, Franco, Talia and Mason. Also left to mourn are sisters-in-law Felicetta and Maddalena, brother-in-law Antonio, many cherished nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations to the Arthritis Society would be gratefully accepted. The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers of the Finnish Manor in Burnaby where Vincenza resided for the last three years. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.

    Domenic and Rose and families …..
    I just read of your mother’s passing and want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. We had many, many happy family times over the years but I’m sure that your mom is happily reunited with your dad, Nicky, and many other family members! They will all be celebrating together.

    As I have moved to the Toronto area, I will not be able to attend the service but please know I will be there in spirit.

    Please know how saddened we are by the passing of your wonderful mom Vincenza. We will all miss her–we will especially miss her presence at the Civitanova Italian Festivals. We take comfort in knowing she is looking down upon us from heaven and is happily united with zio Angelo and cousin Nick.

    Abbiamo appena saputo la triste notizia della scomparsa di vostra madre, siamo molto dispiaciuti dell’accaduto e vi siamo molto vicini in questo triste momento.
    La morte non ci porta via completamente la persona amata, rimane sempre il suo ricordo che ci incita a continuare. Coraggio. Sentite condoglianze.
