It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Elisa at her home, surrounded by her family. Elisa was born in Sepino, Campobasso, Italy and was the last surviving sibling of the Merola family. Survived by her beloved husband Carmine, daughter Michelina (Tony), son Sam (Brita) (Marcus, Marina and Matthew), Elisa’s cherished grandchildren Anthony (Karla) and Nadia (Valter) and great grandson Brandon.
Dear wife, Mom and Grandma
May happiness greet you once more.
May you have no more pain and suffering.
May you have only sunny days with a cool gentle
Breeze brushing across your face.
May you walk freely and unaided thru the
Gates of our Lord as he awaits you.
May you find peace and joy forever
Until we meet once more.
Forever you will be in our hearts and our memories.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2725 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver, B.C. with a Private family entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, The Abbey, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.
