Cesira Padovan
November 07, 1924 – August 04, 2010
Cesira was born in Pordenone, Italy and passed away peacefully at Crossroads Hospice, Port Moody, B.C. at the age of 85 years. We will dearly miss our Cesira, a spouse of 61 years, mother, nonna, sister and friend. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Italo, children Milena (John), Silvano (Diane), grandchildren, Rianna, Devin, Dan, Maria, siblings Olimpia, Alessandro, Mario. Predeceased by her parents Luigi & Antonietta & brothers Tulio, Gabrielle & Ricardo. Cesira was all about nurturing and feeding her family and everything she made for us was seasoned with her secret ingredient…love. Special thanks to everyone at Crossroads Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice Society ( http://www.crossroadshospice.bc.ca/ ). Visitation between 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m on Sunday August 8th at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings, Burnaby, B.C. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 9th at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, B.C. Entombment follows at Forest Lawn Garden Mausoleum.
