The grandfather of my father went to New York in 1890 and after this He went to Brasil. But he told to my father that a brother stayed in USA. By mistake, our name was changed to “Possendoro” (the man which made the registrations was frequently drunk and he has written the name totally diferent). When we see the image of Mr Pietro Pingitore – by web – my father has thought that he looks like his grandfather. Unfortunately, we do not have pictures of him. My name is Geraldo José Possendoro and a I am a Psychiatrist. The name of my father is Geraldo Possendoro and he is a retired man, 75 years old, with a very good health. Perhaps we could be rrelatives … “Force for you” …We are happy you have a big and beatiful family. We hope an answer.

I will always remember Pietro rounding up all his grandsons at Saint Patricks to take them home. He was always so proud of his family. All the special memories will last a lifetime and keep him close to your hearts and help ease your pain. He will be missed.

You will always remain close to my heart. I will miss seeing you at my Nonna’s house and all the times you refused to eat dinner with us, the times you gloated on what Zia Amina made for dinner that night, the fantastic bread she just made or which grandson made you proud that week.
