GASPARIN – Norma Genoveffa (nee Girardi) born June 1, 1918 in Zero Branco, Treviso, Italy passed away peacefully March 17, 2010 in Vancouver. Norma was predeceased by her husband Emanuele in 1994. She is survived by her loving family, son Sante (Anna); daughter Maria Vilio (Rino); grandsons Michael (Tasha) and Mark (Lisa); great grandchildren Daniella, Manuela, Adam, Claudia and Markus and sister Naomi of Italy. Prayers will be offered on at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, The Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. would be appreciated. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.

    Hello Maria, Rino and family, we are sending our sincere condolence to all of you.
    Maria, you have been a wonderful, loving and caring daughter along with Rino’s support. Your mom received the best from all of you.

    When we lose our mom, we think she is gone, but she never leaves us. You will find comfort in all the wonderful memories of your life with her. She will be with you always.
