June 19, 1923 – March 12, 2010
Duncan served in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War. Following the War he started his career in funeral service in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the early 50’s he joined the Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home and later the Simmons and McBride Funeral Home of Vancouver, B.C. During the early 70’s he moved over to Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby, B.C. until the mid 80’s at which time he was employed at Hamilton Mortuary, Vancouver, B.C. until the early 90’s. He then retired to Green Lake, B.C. until 2005 when he returned to the Vancouver area. Duncan is survived by family. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com
