I have great memories of Milan as a co-worker at CFC. I first met Milan and Ken at the old Steveston Phoenix plant in the 1970’s and soon learned much about his experiences in the fishing industry. He was also very good at educating us on Yugoslavia! I thank Milan for his contribution to my life and the opportunity to meet Mary-Lou, Ken and Larry.

Mary-Lou and family:

I was sorry to hear the news from Ken that Milan had passed away.

He was a great family guy, who always spoked positive about yourself, Ken and Larry.

I will think of him when I go to Hon’s, as this was a favourite place for Milan, Sadru and myself.

Mary-Lou, Ken, Larry, Aunt Anne, and all your families,

The thing I remember the most about Milan was that he always resisted change and always promoted stability in your family.

How else do you explain the fact that he lived in the same house for 70 years, always drove a Chevy, and he married a girl who went to the same high school as her mom, and her kids? Can’t get much more stable than that!

I will never forget him.
