We are so very sad to hear that Santolo Gino has passed away. We will always remember Santolo for his quiet nature, the love of his family, beautiful garden and of course his wine.
At this time we are also thinking of the special friendship that has been shared between Gino, Antonia, Italo and Cesira for over half a century and how much Gino will be missed.
May you all find comfort in your treasured memories and in the love and caring thoughts sent to you at this very difficult time.
Love from John, Milena, Rianna and Devin

My husband and I became Gino’s neighbours in 1979 and spent many happy times with Gino in the back lane/yard chatting away and enjoying a glass or two of wine.

I missed Gino’s warmth after I moved away from the area. Whenever he saw me, he always welcomed me with a big hug. I’m so sorry he’s gone, I’m so sorry for your loss.

Antonia, le mie condoglianze, le mia preghiere e pensiero e con te in questo triste tempo.

    Maria (Antonietta) Mezzomo

It is with teary sadness that we say good bye to Mr. Baldissera. I had grown up with his son, Dino and to this day still stay in contact with him and his family.
I spent as much time at Mr. & Mrs. Baldissera home as I did with my own parents. The first 30years has thousand of wonderful memories for me. As a small boy, on the occasion, helping with the wine, in the garden and a little soccer in the front yard. His charming smile, easy manner and his own style of wisdom.
I had lost my own father a number of years ago and he had worked with Mr. Baldissera at UBC and had spoken very highly of him.
To Dino, Barb, Isaiah, Francesca and all his family and friends, I know the impact this type of loss can have. So please remember it is in God’s hand and enjoy the memories.
