It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elio, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Elio passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Elio was born in Francavilla, Abruzzi, Italy. Survived by his loving wife Raylya, children Indira, Marat and Gulnaz, grandson Myles, sisters Maria and Aurelia, nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, August 13th at 7:30 p.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 14th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Ocean View South Mausoleum, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com
