Remembering what a lovely Shirley you had. She fought her illness with such uncomplaining courage. I had the privilege to know Shirley who greet you with a beaming smile. She is a beautiful lady with such lovely complexion. She is charming, sensitive and witty too . Shirley was truly a remarkable person and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy.
My sincere condolences to Shirley’s husband, Bob, and his family.
I had the privilege of knowing Shirley for several months as a volunteer at Dufferin Care Centre and I always admired Shirley’s courage, patience and fortitude in dealing with the loss of her daughters and of her illness. There was a constant and permanent smile on her face, no matter how uncomfortable or in pain she must have been. Never complained and always ready to pray with us and to offer her sufferings to the Lord. Shirley was an example to us all and I will always remember her with the greatest affection. May her soul rest in peace.
Uncle Bob ~ our family is sending you our deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful bride. I only have lovely memories of Auntie Shirley ~ always with that sweet, kind smile on her face. She rarely spoke of herself and was always quick to ask about others and their lives… so humble. What a courageous battle she has fought all of these years with you ~ your lives have been tremendously challenging, to say the least. We are praying for you now, dear Uncle, that you would lean on the Lord like never before… and find the peace that is promised, whilst the angels gather ’round and minister to you. Remember how much you are loved by all of us.
She was the nicest person I ever knew
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Bob and the family.
As a volunteer at Dufferin Care Centre I was privileged to see
Shirley almost daily and I found her to be a beautiful person in
every way. Her inner beauty shone through her eyes and her
lovely smile. I shall miss her but I will never forget her.
