Passed away quickly and peacefully on July 26, 2009. Meta was born Wickede/Dortmund, Germany on November 15, 1919. She was predeceased by her loving husband Rudolf, in 1993.     Dear Rudy and Rolf,

    I justed wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss. Losing a mom is especially difficult as she has known you longer than anyone else, from the moment of your conception and often knows by the sound of your voice or by the look on your face that you are happy or hurt or sad and more. I know from the conversations that I had with your Mom that she loved you both so much and was so very, very proud of you both.
    I just want to mention a happy memory of your Mom who as a gifted baker, generously brought many treats when she came to family dinners – cheesecakes, tortes, flans and the best calorie bombs (cream puffs) – and better, was always willing to share her recipes with me.
    As the days go by, and you miss her, be assured of our prayers for you both, for your familys and for your Mom. May she rest in peace.
