QUARTO, Damiana (nee Sguera) passed away on July 8, 2009 at the age of 82 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Francesco Quarto; 5 children: Filomena Troisi, Giuseppe (Joanne), Antonio (Sandra), Enrico and Romano; grandchildren Franco, Damiana, Andrea, Joseph, Patrick, Francesco, Daniela, Antonio, Evano, and Armando; great grandchildren Gianluca. Special thank-you to all the staff at Burnaby General Hospital ICU Unit for all of their hard work. Prayers will be offered Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Holy Cross 1450 Delta Ave, Burnaby, BC where Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Burnaby General Hospital Foundation. On-line condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.

George and I were very, very sorry to learn of Damiana’s passing. Though we only had the pleasure of being in her company on a couple occasions – they were always very warm memories for us. Our deepest sympathy and caring thoughts go to your entire family at this time.
