 Passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the age of 77 years.  Lovingly remembered by her husband Renzo, daughter Evelina (Robert), grandson Domenik, sister Amabile (Gianni), brothers Ugo (Maria) and Angelo (Rina) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 525 Campbell Avenue, Vancouver, BC.  Flowers gratefully declined  On-line condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.

    Words cannot express the shock I am feeling so I wanted to say how sorry I am about your mother. My fond memories of Rita is of my talking to her while she worked in the garden in the backyal. I wil never forget her Italian accent.

    I wil miss talking and saying hi when I am in the neighbourhood
