 Of Vancouver, B.C., born January 9th, 1932 in Sanski Most, Bosnia/Croatia, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2009, age 77 years. Predeceased by his son, Ivica. Survived by his loving wife Lucija of 60 years, his 3 children Martin, Marcie and John (Anita), 5 grandchildren, Michelle, Josip, Pavao, Stefica and Alicia, brothers and sisters in Bosnia/Croatia, other family and friends around the world. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21st at Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Catholic Church, 3105 East 1st Ave., Vancouver, B.C., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22nd with entombment to follow at the Abbey at Ocean View Burial Park. The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at Chilliwack General Hospital for their support. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
