Lina Marconato
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lina Marconato on April 17, 2009 at the age of 86 years. She is predeceased by her husband Alberto and daughter Lorenza. Lina is survived by her loving family, children; Nora (Vince), Walter (Lori), Mike (Liliana), grandchildren; Alessandra, Giulano, Serena, Joey, Emily, Tiana and Dante, sister Elda, family friend Dan, and a large, loving family and group of friends. Prayers will be held Wednesday April 22 at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan St. Vancouver, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday April 23 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com

My family & I are so sorry to hear of the passing of our beloved Zia LIna. Not only did Zia Lina always have a kind word and a welcomed all to her home, she had such a warm, welcoming heart . All who were blessed enough to have been able to known her can say that their lives are better for having known her.
Our hearts and thoughts go to all of Zia’s family during this time of sadness.
