In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

    To the Forsyth Family,

I was really saddened to see that this wonderful man had passed. Ian was my and my sister’s dentist for many years. He was always so charming and joyful and always brought a smile to my face, even when it was half frozen.

We share in your sadness as we discovered Ian’s obituary on the Bell/Burnaby website as we were checking the postings on our father’s obituary. We lost our dad last month from cancer as well.

A friend sent me an email with a brief message and we used it at my father’s funeral. I am sending it to you in hope that you will remember the love and laughter I know your father brought to you. He was very proud of all of you.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

I will take a moment to think of Dr. Forsyth the next time I am skiing on Whistler.

    With our sincerest condolences,

    Tanja and Adriana Balic

Hello Barbara, Angus, Gavin, and Fraser. A message from England, from me and my husband Chris, whose mother Dorothy I know you all remember from your very young childhood.

Your family was an important part of Dorothy’s life, and we are very sorry to hear of the passing of Iain, a man who had great influence on my husband as a result of his honesty and genuine interest in people.

We hope you are coping with your sad loss.

    Best wishes

    Margaret and Chris Weaver
