I was deeply saddened to hear of Charles’ passing. I’ve known Charles through Saint Vincent de Paul for approximately seven years. He was a wonderful person, very caring of other people and he will be missed terribly by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
God Bless

I offer my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of my dear friend Charles Paqueo. We became close friends through meetings at several Annual Meetings of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Charles always sought out the Newfoundland contingent at these meetings and we all loved to share stories and “sayings” from local culture. We loved to make Charles laugh by using these “sayings” in our talks with him. The upcoming Annual Meeting will not be the same without him, but, I know he will be there in spirit. May God bless you and keep you in this tragic time.
Sincerely,
David Grant
I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Charles’ passing. I met Charles through St. Vincent de Paul – a kind, gentle and caring person. Our annual conferences will never be the same without him. I offer my deepest sympathy to his wife, children, grandchild and extended family. May God give you strength and comfort during this most difficult time. My prayers are with you all.

Charles was amazing and I’ll never forget how much he gave back to the community. He touched the heart of every person he met. I met Charles when I joined the choir at Holy Cross Parish and will never forget how warm he was from the beginning. I was completely shocked and saddened to hear that he passed away. I know he’s already an angel, I have no doubt about that, and I will miss him very much. He lived with so much passion and was not only a true role model, but an inspiration in every sense of the word. I’m so sorry to his family and to his friends.
Sincerely, with love,

Del and Family….I was shocked and saddened to hear of Charles’ death. His life was full of good ideas and good works and he had the drive and energy to follow through: he will certainly be missed by many. I was at prayers for Charles following the 5:00 pm Mass at St. Francis de Sales Parish last Saturday and hope to be able to attend the Tuesday night and /or Wednesday services.

Charles, I know that you are still with us. My faith assures me that you are alive and well in the land of angels, and for this, I am most happy and thankful. At the same time, i was deeply saddened (crushed, to be more precise) at the news of your sudden passing, and I just want to say that in all my life, I have never encountered a more giving soul, and a more dedicated person whose heart always seemed to be in exactly the right place. You cared so much for others. You gave so much of yourself to those in need, and you were someone who drew utmost respect from countless individuals, while you never went looking for any accolades whatsoever. Knowing you has enriched my life. I won’t soon forget how kind, considerate, and full of love you were to everyone you came in contact with. I am proud to say that Charles Paqueo touched my life. Thank you for setting an example of how we should ALL be.
David anf Deirdre from the St. Vincent Society from Cloverdale offer our condolence and prayers. We are sadden to hear the loss of Charles. He touched our lives with his kindess and love to everyone around him.

There is a new star in the heavens tonight, Charles. It has your name on it, and when we look up and say a prayer, we will know it is you, continuing to light the path of all of us who were fortunate enough to know you.

Hello to all of Charles’ family.
I’ve known Charles for many years and always looked forward to seeing him each year at the AGA’s. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING AND WILL MISS HIM DEARLY! He was a wonderful man who had a zest for life. I’ve never seen anything but a smile on his face and a warm hug for all he met. He became a very good friend of mine over the years and I feel his passing deeply.
I am very sorry for the sorrow you will no doubt be feeling now. I pray for his soul’s safe journey back to our Lord and for your hearts to be filled with joy and love in your memories of him that you carry deep within you.
Sometimes we wonder if what we do here, in this life, will make a difference to anyone when we are gone. Well, Charles DID make a difference to everyone he touched. He was a beautiful soul!
My sincere condolences to you all.
God bless you always.
