Virginia Turco

Virginia with her family by her side, passed peacefully at Mt. St. Joseph’s Hospital, Vancouver, on Monday, March 16, 2009 at the age of 89 years.  Born in Serra Padace, Cosenza, Italy on October 31, 1919.  She is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Fiore.  Survived by her loving family; children Rosetta (Enrico), Mario (Elida), Caterina (Rosalbino), Ernesto (Antonietta); 10 grand children.  The family wish to thank the staff of Holy Family Hospital for their loving care of Mama.  Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. from the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at the Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Church Fund c/o “the Window of Divine Mercy.”  Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.
