Angela Maria Bellusci

September 30, 1923 – February 13, 2009 Our beloved Mother passed away peacefully wth her family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonardo, her sister and 2 brothers. She will be sadly missed by her beloved children; daughters Josie (Joe) and Maria (Nick) Parente, sons Mike (Rhonda) and Rico, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mamma was born in Biccari, Foggia, Italy and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1958. With her trust in God she devoted her life to family, friends and community. Mom was a hard working woman who loved to cook and garden. Our parents home was always filled with love, laughter and food. Our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother leaves us with so many cherished memories. Thank you to Dr. G. Lorenzon and the Home Support Staff of GVCS & VGH for all their compassionate care. Prayers will be offered Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 555 Slocan St., Van. B.C. a Mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m., Entombment at Ocean View Burial Park.
