Connie Nori
January 7, 2009
It is with great pain and sorrow we share the passing of Connie on January 5, 2009. She is predeceased by her father Ladell Sanders. Connie is survived by her loving husband and best friend for the past 21 years, Rick; her joys – son Joel , daughter Danielle, and her bestest mansy man – four legged friend – Baxter. She is also survived by her mother Alexina Sanders, sister Dianne Sereda (Greg), brothers Tom Sanders, Gary Sanders, Brian Sanders and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was born the youngest of 5 children in Lethbridge, Alberta on February 8, 1963. She moved to Calgary , where she met and married Rick in 1988. Connie was involved in many activities, always organizing and volunteering her assistance be it on hockey, ringette, soccer teams, and more recently with her fund raising for Breast Cancer . She was frequently known as the spreadsheet queen.
Connie became involved in the insurance industry in 1996 – and was a true friend and colleague to many at ING Insurance. She was a key administrator and more recently a trainer and will truly be missed by many at ING and her extended insurance family.
Connie was not “All About Me”, it was always what can I give to others. Her infectious sense of humour, her laugh, and off the cuff comments always brought a smile and laughter to those who met her and knew her.
In true Connie fashion – she would want us all to remember and celebrate her life. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 24, 2009 at Coquitlam Alliance Church, 2601 Spuraway Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3C 2C4 – phone 604-464-6744. Refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated, website www.bccancerfoundation.com. Please offer your condolences and what Connie meant to you in writing via the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel website www.bellburnaby.com The family will cherish your thoughts, and always have them to remember Connie .
