August 29, 1925 – December 16, 2008
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonietta Manzi. Born in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy, she passed away peacefully on December 16, 2008, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Gennaro and Rosaria, and her sister Emilia. Antonietta will be lovingly remembered by her husband Domenico of 63 years, her son Pat (Lena), 3 grandchildren Tina (Brian), Kathy (Anthony), Donny, 4 great-grandchildren Joshua, Jayson, Mateo and Giuliana, brothers Alessandro (Matilda) and Felice (Matilda), sisters Ida and Giovanna(Ferruccio) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. on Saturday December 20, 2008 @ 10:00am, Burial to follow @ Ocean View, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, B.C.. The family would like to thank all the Nurses and Doctors @ St. James Cottage Hospice for there support and wonderful care. In lieu of all flowers a donation to be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
