It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, Domenico on November 5, 2008 in Burnaby, B.C. Born in Grimaldi, Italy on December 4, 1927. He was predeceased by his wife Rosaria, son Tony, parents Antonio and Gilda and brothers Joe and Silvano. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Gilda and sons Frank (Christy Johnson) and Tony; sisters Luisa Mauro, Ida DeVuono (Frank), Mary Ganzini (Leo) and sister in law Faye Iachetta. Also survived by his beloved grandchildren Michael and Alicia and many nieces, nephews here and in Trail, B.C. Domenico enjoyed being with family and friends, and his passion in life was to tend to his garden. We would like to say thank you to family and friends for their support at this difficult time. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at St. Helen’s Church, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bellburnaby.com.
