Rosa Bruno (nee Gagliano)
BRUNO, Rosa (nee Gagliano) born on November 15, 1927 in Siculiana, AG, Sicily, Italy, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2008. She is survived by her loving family, husband Alfonso of 61 years, children, Gerry (Janice), Steve (Jennifer); grandchildren Alfonso, Jean-Paul, Anthony, Chelsea, Megan; two brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, October 22 at 8:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church 555 S. Slocan Street, Vancouver, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at the Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. would be appreciated.
